FAQ's
How long is the season?
The park is open for touring units (caravans, tents, etc) all year round. Please note not all facilities are available at all times - please telephone us if a particular facility is important to you BEFORE booking, especially out of the main season.
How often can I use my seasonal or static caravan?
Seasonal and Static caravans may only be occupied from 1st March until 2nd January each year.
What vehicles are allowed at Riverside?
Non sign written commercial vehicles are not allowed on the park. Additionally, only road legal vehicles driven by licensed persons can be used on site.
Can I live on site?
No. Riverside is a non-residential park for holiday-makers only. We Close for January and February.
Do you rent caravans?
No. There are no caravans to rent at Riverside, all caravans are privately owned.
What is the ground rent for a seasonal caravan?
The 2024 yearly price is £2,750.00. You would also need to purchase electricity (metered) and gas bottles, depending on usage.
What is the ground rent of a static caravan?
The 2024 yearly price is £4,268.00. You would also need to purchase electricity and gas bottles, depending on usage.
When do I pay for my seasonal or static rent and electric?
Rent and electricity are billed twice yearly for seasonal and static caravans - on 1st March and 30th June.
Do you do Storage and how much is ?
Yes we do storage and the year starts 1st April - 31st March, the yearly price is POA
Can I get on the Internet on site?
Yes, we have a service on site supplied by Camping Connect, you log on when you are on site and pay online.
Can I bring my dog with me?
Yes, dogs are welcome on the park, but should be kept on leads at all times. Please note that dangerous breeds of dogs are not accepted.
What time can I arrive and what time do I have to leave on my last day?
Pitches may be occupied from 12 noon and must be vacated by 11am on day of departure - this is especially important at busy times, as we're sure you will appreciate.
Can I get food on the park?
Yes, there is a chip shop and Cafe / Ice cream Parlour Please check at reception for availability. NOTE : This facility is not available all year round.
Can my children use the clubhouse?
Yes, until 7pm. after this time, they must be accompanied by their legal guardian who must be over 21.
Also please note if your children are under 17 years old they must be accompanied by an adult after 9pm and not wandering around the park. Please respect other holiday makers whilst on the park.
When is the pool open?
The pool is open from Easter weekend (or April 1st) until Bonfire weekend. Normal opening times are 10am until 6pm daily. There are adults only sessions from 1-2pm . Please note that these are main season times - out of the main season, please contact reception for alternative times.
Can we use the park if we are not staying at Riverside?
No,facilities are for visitors only staying at the park, plus their guests (by arrangement only).
What deposit will I need to pay?
A minimum stay of two nights is required at weekends, a £20 deposit is required.
A three nights minimum stay on Public Holidays. The deposit is in FULL for public holidays
All deposits are non refundable ( even if it rains! ) No Refunds Due To Adverse Weather Conditions !
